Terms of Service

1. Scope & Provider

These Terms of Service govern the use of the MatchUp app (app.matchup.bkk) and its website. The provider and your contractual counterparty is Sky Universe Group Co., Ltd., 1575 New Phetchaburi Road, Makkasan, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand (hereinafter "MatchUp", "we"). By registering and using the service, you accept these terms.

2. What MatchUp Provides

MatchUp is a marketplace that connects players with organisers ("hosts") of football and futsal games in Bangkok. MatchUp provides the technical platform for discovering, booking, organising, and communicating around games. MatchUp is not the organiser of the games and is not a party to the participation contract formed between player and host.

3. Registration & Account

• Use requires an account with a valid email address and password.
• Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• The information in your profile must be truthful.
• Use is permitted from age 13; minors may require the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Bookings

Bookings are formed directly between player and host. The host sets the price, capacity, skill requirements, cancellation windows, and other conditions of a game. If a game is full, a waitlist may be available where offered; freed-up slots may be filled automatically.

5. Prices, Payment & Cancellation

• Prices for participation are set by the respective host and shown in the app before booking.
• MatchUp does not process any payments for games. The entry fee is paid directly to the host at the venue.
• Cancellations follow the windows and refund rules set by the host per game (e.g. free cancellation window, partial refund thereafter). These are shown before booking.
• Not showing up ("no-show") may affect your reliability score.

6. Paid Areas for Organisers

Using MatchUp as a player is free. Organisers can unlock the Host, Club and Tournament areas. These areas are sold exclusively as auto-renewing In-App Purchases through the Apple App Store and Google Play; scope, term and price are shown in the app before you buy. Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled entirely by the respective app store — MatchUp neither collects nor processes these payments.

7. Conduct & Fair Play

When using MatchUp, you agree in particular to:

• behave fairly, respectfully, and safely towards others,
• not share offensive, harassing, discriminatory, or unlawful content,
• not misuse the in-app chat for spam or advertising,
• not use false identities or multiple accounts to circumvent bans,
• not technically manipulate or abuse the platform.

Violations may lead to warnings, restrictions, or permanent suspension of the account.

8. User Content

You remain responsible for content you create (e.g. profile pictures, messages) and warrant that you hold the necessary rights to it. You grant MatchUp a non-exclusive right to store and display this content as part of operating the platform. We may remove unlawful content or content that violates these terms.

9. Availability

We strive for high availability of the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. Maintenance, further development, or technical faults may cause temporary limitations.

10. Liability

MatchUp is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise, MatchUp is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. As MatchUp is not the organiser of the games, we accept no liability for the conduct, safety, or quality of the games themselves; the respective host is responsible for these. Participation in sporting activities is at your own risk.

11. Termination & Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations of these terms. Payments already made remain unaffected by a termination for cause, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these terms where necessary for legal or product reasons. We will notify you of material changes in an appropriate manner. The current version is available on this page.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Thailand. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
